How to support us?
HCC is committed to making our screenings accessible while ensuring we can sustainably cover the costs of venue hire, licensing, equipment, guest speakers, and event production. To do this, we offer a tiered ticket system based on solidarity and community support.
We also welcome one-off donations using Collctiv or booking a ‘Donation’ ticket to any of our events on Eventbrite.
Our Community Pricing
Choose the ticket tier that best reflects your current circumstances — considering income, housing, caring responsibilities, health, and day-to-day financial pressures. We trust you to choose what feels right.
🟣 Plum Ticket – £20
If things are going well.
You have stable income, disposable spending, and can comfortably contribute more. Choosing this tier helps fund free and lower-cost tickets for others.
🔵 Teal Ticket – £10
If things are steady or mixed.
You can afford a ticket, but your budget requires some balancing. This tier helps cover the core cost of the event.
🟠 Amber Ticket – £5
If money is tight.
For those navigating financial pressure, precarious work, caring responsibilities, or other challenges.
⚪ Community Ticket – Free (limited)
Reserved for those for whom cost would otherwise be a barrier to attending. If community tickets are no longer available, please email us. We will make one available, no questions asked.

If you would like to contribute more, or if one of the set ticket prices does not reflect your circumstances, you can choose an amount that feels right for you.
Why this matters
Free tickets are made possible by guests who choose higher-priced tickets. If you are in a position to do so, we encourage you to purchase a Plum or Teal ticket. Your contribution directly expands access and helps us build an inclusive, community-rooted cinema where cost is not a barrier to participation.
